A close associate of late Majar Maxwell Mahama’s family (name with held) , has called on the president Nana Akufo Addo to speed up the documentation process of the GHc 500,000 Trust Fund promised wife and two children of the fallen soldier.
According to her , although the documentation is going , it is taking so much time to materialize and added that the fund will help the family take proper care of themselves when finalized.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s current affairs show Epa Hoa Daben, the lady, who pleaded anonymity expressed her displeasure at seeing the bereaved family still living in the barracks.
Her further explanation to this is that the widow, Barbara Mahama will have memories of the event because of the environment she finds herself in.
“I was disturbed when I saw the family of the late soldier still occupying their barracks home. It is very traumatic.” She added.
She therefore called on former president John Dramani Mahama, uncle of the deceased, to try his hard to get the woman out of the barracks to prevent further trauma.
