Kofi Kinaata tips Hearts Leonard Tawiah for greatness

Hearts of Oak midfielder Leonard Anthony Tawiah has earned praises from Ghanaian Hip-life musician Martin King Arthur, claiming he will make it big in football.

Arthur, who is popularly known in Ghana music circles as ‘Kofi Kinaata’ believes the hard-working enforcer has the requisite qualities to become a hit in his profession.

Tawiah has been one of Hearts of Oak best performers in the ongoing campaign after initially struggling to command a regular playing time, and was deemed surplus to requirement at the start of the season.

However, the former Efiekuma Ajax FC midfielder has become a mainstay of the side since the the arrival of English gaffer Frank Nuttall.

“I’m not surprised by Tawiah’s display for Hearts because I know him during our time in Takoradi, he was that good especially in retrieving ball possession. Those days, his body was frail but never misses a tackle. I remember his days at Juventus and Ajax in Takoradi, he always gave a hundred percent performance in matches,” Kinaata told Happy FM’s Sintim-Koree Chaskele.

“He’s somebody I’m tipping to make it big in football. I foresee him at the echelon of football, trust me he’ll outshine all the midfielders in the Ghana league because he is very good at what he does. I say this with conviction and not because he’s someone I know. He will end up playing for either Manchester United or somewhere Juventus in Italy,” he added.

Kinaata’s elder brother Charles King Arthur played for Ebusua Dwarfs last term.
