The Ministry of Information has announced that, 21 Heads of Stated from Africa and beyond would be attending the inauguration ceremony of President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.
According to a statement by the Ministry, three (3) Vice Presidents, 4 Ministers and 24 envoys have been invited to attend the inauguration ceremony as well.
The Ministry noted that, preparations towards the inauguration are progressing steadily.
“The Ministry of Information is pleased to announce that preparations towards the inauguration of the President-Elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, are underway and progressing steadily. Currently, a significant number of Heads of States and foreign dignitaries have confirmed their attendance”.
To ensure a smooth and high-quality broadcast experience, the production of the inauguration ceremony will be centralized. Television channels will receive a feed, and media outlets requiring a clean feed must have a minimum internet speed of 4mbps.
“Due to the inauguration ceremony, there would be temporary road closures to facilitate the safe passage of dignitaries and the general public attending the inauguration ceremony.
Hence, motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic directives from security personnel.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the cooperation of the public in ensuring a successful inauguration ceremony”.
