The Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has said that Ghana against Angola is going to be tough and difficult but expressed the need for a win over Angola to keep Ghana’s hopes alive in qualifying for the AFCON 2025.
According to him, the players are mentally prepared to secure victory.
“I’m looking forward to the game and it’s time for our first win in this competition, a vital opportunity to stay in the race.”
He added that the new players can prove themselves even though it is going to be a difficult game and they cannot take it for granted because they are going to play safe.
Niger’s recent victory over Sudan has given Black Stars hope of qualifying. Ghana need to secure wins against Angola and Niger while they are looking forward to Sudan losing against Angola.
