The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the squad of twenty-three players selected by the Black Princesses’ coach Yusif Basigi for the crucial first-leg encounter against Eswatini in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

However, the team will be without the services of five key players: Mary Amponsah, Comfort Yeboah, Deborah Brown, Tracy Twum, and Abena Anomah Opoku.

These players are currently engaged in the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League with club side Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

The Black Princesses departed Accra on Thursday evening in preparation for the first leg match in Eswatini.

They are vying for their seventh consecutive appearance at the prestigious tournament, which will be held in Colombia next year.

The much-anticipated clash is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba.

Yusif Basigi and his players will hope to get their qualifying campaign off to a flying start.
