Ghana star Mohammed Kudus is unhappy following the Black Stars stalemate against Egypt in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday night.
The Black Stars played a disappointing 2-2 draw in their second Group B game against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Mohammed Kudus made a triumphant return to the Black Stars team after missing the opening game against Cape Verde, where Ghana lost 2-1.
The West Ham United star scored twice for Ghana on his return to the team, winning the Man of the Match award at the end of the game.
But the record AFCON holders came from behind twice to secure a vital draw following defensive blunders from the Black Stars.
“It’s a mixed feeling. As a forward, you want your goals to have an impact on the result. We got a point but I felt we deserved more because the goals they scored was from some silly mistakes from us which need to learn from”
“We put this game aside and focus on the next game. we knew Egypt was a good side, we came with all the energy and enthusiasm so credit to all the boys, everyone gave their all” he said.
The Black Stars face a must-win situation against Mozambique on Monday to progress to the next round.
