Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor says he believes his team will start scoring very soon.
The Black Stars have scored just one goal in their last three games.
CK Akonnor’s side lost against Morocco by a lone goal in Rabat, were held to a goalless draw against Côte d’Ivoire and won 1-0 against Ethiopia in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Speaking at the post match conference when quizzed by Happy 98.9FM journalist Herbert Boakye Yiadom on Ghana’s inability to score more goals in their last three games Akonnor said his team is creating chances and they will score very soon.
“If you watch our game we create a lot of chances. This same chances in our squad against Qatar scored five goals.
“So it’s not a situation whereby we cannot score goals but now it seems so but I strongly believe we will score goals.
“We are doing well and creating chances. With time it will come”
Mubarak Wakaso scored Ghana’s only game of the game to send the Black Stars top of Group G in the World Cup qualifiers
