Former Hasaacas Ladies star Evelyn Badu has been crowned CAF Inter Club Player of the Year.
She beat off competition from teammate Doris Boaduwaa and Morocco’s Yasmine Zouhir, who plays for AS St Etienne to the award
Evelyn Badu was adjudged the best player at the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League tournament held in Egypt last year.
The striker netted five goals to win the golden boot and to be crown the queen of the competition, after leading the Ghanaian side to the final of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Badu also finished the competition as the Top Scorer with five goals, won two Woman of the Match awards and crowned it all with the Best Player of the Tournament award
Badu also played a key role to help Ghana’s Under-20 female team, the Black Princesses, qualify for the 2022 Women’s World Cup (WWC) in Costa Rica.
The talented striker currently plays for Norwegian side, Alvaldsnes.
