Philip Nii Sackey solo strike handed Great Olympics their second win of the season against Inter Allies in match day six of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The “dade boys” are aiming at a top table finish at the end of the season and have started off with attaining good results in their league games.
The game started off with Great Olympics piling a lot of pressure on Inter Allies for the opening goal.
Inter Allies goalkeeper, George Apronti pulled a brilliant save to deny Olympics the opener in the 10th minute of the first half.
Apronti had to be substituted from the game after picking up an injury and was replaced by Nyarko Augusto Ofori.
Olympics were finally rewarded with their constant pressure at goal and scored the opener in the 28th minute through Sackey Philip Nii Kojo.
Inter Allies nearly got the equalizer but Kingsley Braye’s effort went wide.
Allies through their marksman, Victorien Adebayor launched attack on the Olympics defense for the equalizer but proved futile.
Great Olympics lies seventh on the league log with seven points after match day six.
