The double track system for second cycle schools in Ghana commenced on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, as promised by President Nana Addo led government.
However, parents across the country rush to the various schools their wards were placed to register them.
At the Osu Presbyterian SHS, attendance was very high to the extent that parents and their children were a bit worried, but registration went on successfully.
The situation was no different at the Accra High school premises.
400 out of the 696 public senior high schools have been selected to operate the system.
It has also emerged that, government would recruit about 8,872 additional tutors for the double track programme which started yesterday, September 11, in over 400 selected senior high schools in Ghana.
