Actress Adu Sarfowaa has revealed that fellow actresses sabotaged her at the dawn of her acting career because they felt intimidated by her.
She made this disclosure on the award-winning entertainment ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show’ on e.TV Ghana.
“I’m a very strong person and determined, God has given me that energy. The truth of the matter is that when I started; I scared most of the people. There were some directors who trusted me to tell me. They will say, see this person says I shouldn’t give you the role because they saw that drive,” she revealed.
According to her, this unfortunate experience happened in both Nigeria and her homeland Ghana.
“Oh even I had an experience in Nigeria, a Nigerian director told me that that’s what the girl feels. That he is giving me so much attention,” she said.
Destiny had another way for her to breakthrough as her opportunity to star in the famous ‘Adonko Bitters’ commercial shot her to limelight opening many doors of brand endorsements.
“At some point, I got to realize that everything was failing. Adonko came in the position that God wanted to help me. Somebody probably will sit somewhere and say something different, but it was something God wanted to use to open a door. He knew that when I get the opportunity, I’ll make good use of it. It was something that Destiny just gave me,” she stated.
