Liu Zhen Zhong, a Chinese Manager of a plastic manufacturing company in Kumasi and his assistant Liu Wan have been arrested for stabbing a Ghanaian worker.
A factory hand, Peter Frimpong, was stabbed three times at the neck, back and palm over negligence at work.
The 32-year old manager of the enterprise which recycles plastics into polythelene bags at Fabi in Kumasi is alleged to have stabbed 19-year-old Peter over idling about at work.
Eyewitness reports say the Chinese Manager out of anger pushed the 19-year-old worker after he found him sitting idle. This resulted in a heated argument and physical confrontation that led to the stabbing.
The manager and his assistant have since been transferred from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) police post to the Asokwa Divisional Police headquarters.
The Police has taken their statements pending investigations.
