Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, Lawyer Sarfo Duku has sarcastically advised Hearts of Oak to cease playing against his outfit following their back-to-back victories in the two-legged friendly match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated their sworn rivals 2-0, to record back to back victory over the Phobians in the space of seven days.
Striker Obed Owusu opened the scoring for the Reds after a swift counter attacking football before Emmanuel Gyamfi sealed victory with a fine strike. Both goals came in the second half.
The Accra-based giants had the better of the exchanges but could not capitalize on their dominance.
Speaking with Ohene Bampo-Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Asante Kotoko scribe believes his outfit were superior over the adversaries hence they fully deserved their victory, though he advised their rivals to desist from competing against them for the next three years until they bolster their squad.
“I am advising Hearts of Oak to go to the drawing board. They should take three years off to get their acts right before facing Kotoko again,” Lawyer Duku told Happy FM.
“Kotoko shall continue to dominate Ghana football over Hearts of Oak for the next two years. We the new management wanted to use this Hearts of Oak matches to send a strong signal to other clubs.”
“Kotoko team started picking up the moment our coach parted ways with some players. The team is getting better and stronger.”
