Ex-Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko, Listowell Yesu Bukarson has taken a swipe at Hearts of Oak after claiming that his former outfit are the most attractive club in Ghana.
During Hearts of Oak’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last week, the club’s former board chairman Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe indicated that his outfit are way ahead of their sworn adversaries when it comes to management of football.
Dr. Tamakloe made that statement after some members of the Porcupine Warriors criticized Hearts of Oak for the hasty migration to the Pobiman training facility.
Reacting to Dr. Tamakloe’s comments, Listowell Bukarson declared that the Kumasi-based giants are the way above their rivals in everything.
“Kotoko is the most attractive and enviable club in Ghana. We have the most supporters, forget about the fact that Hearts of Oak is the oldest club,” Bukarson told Ohene Bampoe–Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports.
The outspoken former communications director of the Porcupine Warriors was asked about his opinion on the highly anticipated double-header friendly matches between the two sides.
“I think we are abusing the impact of Hearts and Kotoko matches. We are taking away the excitement that such encounters bring.”
“It will get to a point where Kotoko vs Hearts matches will be seen as normal games. We should be mindful of that with these friendly matches.”
The two clubs will battle it out at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday when they clash in the 1st leg of the Super 2 friendly match an action that will see their fans witness some good football.
The second leg of the Super 2 Clash will come off on September 2, 2018.
