Special aide to Koku Anyidoho, Felix Nene Kabutey has confirmed that Koku Anyidoho will run for the General Secretary position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to Mr. Kabutey, Koku Anyodoho will pick his nomination forms at the party’s headquarters tomorrow August 23, 2018.
His agenda if his bid is successful will be, “party first” which entails restructuring the party to win in the 2020 general election.
This he said will bridge the one million votes gab which the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stretched the NDC during the 2016 elections. Speaking on Happy FM‘s Epa Hoa Daben, he answered “nobody is a general for life.’’
He also buttressed the point that the incumbent General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, actually contributed to their defeat during the 2016 election, adding that at Tain in the Brong Ahafo region where Aseidu Nketia comes from, the NDC lost their seat there.
