The entertainment industry is surprised with names of artistes purported to have taken money from Bullet for performing at the late Ebony’s tribute concert.
Report went rife that the late Ebony’s father, Nana Poku Kwarteng has in possession a document which contains a list of musicians who were paid to perform at the ‘Maame hwe‘ hitmaker’s tribute concert.
However, the document has brought strong opposition between musicians, late Ebony’s dad and Bullet, who Ebony’s dad alleges to have handed over the document to him as expenses incurred at the tribute concert.
Regarding the misunderstanding between Bullet and Ebony’s father, several musicians attacked Bullet on social media for adding their names to the expenses and most of them deny receiving any amount for the tribute concert.
Hiplife musician Edem, expressed his displeasure with the development which captures him to have taken a fee – questioned Bullet in a WhatsApp chat which was later leaked on social by God knows who.
After the leak, veteran artiste manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, who is known in the music industry as Bulldog, has questioned the source of the leak and why the conversation took place between the two instead of addressing the issue publicly.
Reacting to the issue on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra with Doctar Cann, Bulldog said, “We have seen the chat between Edem and Bullet on social media, why would Edem have a conversation with Bullet? It is to expose bullet. Who put his conversation out? who put it out?… and if you have been accused and everybody is saying you did this, whatever you need to do to prove yourself is not with Edem privately . He has a Facebook wall, so why would you respond to only Edem,” he quizzed on Happy FM.
Father of the late Ebony was called to throw more light on the issue, but he claimed to be sick. Bullet is currently out of the country.
