Ghanaian Dancehall/Hiplife musician, Emmanuel Andrews Samini has lifted the lid on reason why he parted ways with manager Anthony Daning, also known as Tony Pun.
The pair brought their 10-years working relationship to an end in 2017 but no reasons were given at that time.
The ‘My own’ crooner managed to win over 20 local and international awards under Tony Pan’s management. He’s won MTV Africa Music Awards, MOBO Awards, The Headies, Channel O Music Video Awards and Ghana Music Awards under his former manager.
Aside from that, Samini churned out several hit songs and international collaborations under Tony Pun.
In an exclusive interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM‘s Ayekoo After Drive show, Samini was quizzed to expatiate on reasons behind his decision to split with his long-time manager, he answered;
“The name and the brand Samini is too big for one person to handle. If you are conversant with artiste management you will understand it. There is no tiff between me and Tony but the job called for it,” he disclosed on Happy FM.
He is currently out with a single ‘Obaa’ which is enjoying massive airplay.
