Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Albert Yahaya Commey has heaped praise on Nana Agyemang Badu II for fulfilling his promise to the playing body on Monday.
Nana Dormaahene, Osegyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II today released an amount of $25,000 to the playing body for their performances in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The amount was delivered at Abanpradease Palace to the leadership of the playing body led by Yahaya Mohammed, Paul Aidoo, Akuoko Emmanuel, Joseph Addo and Elvis Opoku.
Speaking to Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Happy FM‘s Wamputu Sports, Mr. Commey eulogized the club’s life patron for delivering on his promise and hailed the players commitment in the competition.
“Dormaahene is a person who always delivers on his promises. Dormaahene gave the players $25,000,” Mr. Commey told Happy FM.
“It’s for the players because they are the main actors on the field.”
“The players have shown selfless despair all the challenges.”
Mr. Commey was asked if they can win their remaining two games to book their ticket to the knockout stage of the competition.
“We have a mathematical chance of qualifying and it’s possible.”
Aduana Stars occupy 3rd on the standings of Group A with four points after four games.
