Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is ready with another investigative piece to expose the syndicate behind growing alms begging by children on the streets of Accra and Kumasi.
This piece will capture adults who traffic children from different countries to exploit them for profit in Ghana.
Anas has in the past made several documentaries about the plight of children and this will be an addition to the lot to seek for some justice for these young ones.
“My name is Anas Aremeyaw Anas and I love children I’m an undercover journalist. I’ve made various documentaries on the plight of children and like many of you, while driving around Accra and Kumasi, my heart is touched by the plight of little children I see, and yet their numbers seem to be going up. There are more and more of them. They give a poor image of our country after all we are supposed to be a middle-income country,” he said in an audio.
Anas’s motto is “name, shame and jail”, and he is famous for utilizing his anonymity as a tool in his investigative arsenal. His last investigative piece brought a stir to the country as some high ranked football officials were exposed.
