Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has passed his medical with Red Star Belgrade ahead of his imminent switch.
Happyghana.com can report that the 25-year-old is set to ink a deal with the Red and White lads after passing the club’s medical few hours ago.
He arrived in Serbia on Monday to finalize the mouthwatering loan move to the Serbian SuperLiga champions.
The Ghana international is joining the Serbian top-flight side as replacement for his compatriot Abraham Akwasi Frimpong who recently joined Hungarian side Ferencvarosi TC.
Sumaila has featured six times for the Black Stars of Ghana.
