Ghana Football Association (GFA) Club Licensing Board, has announced it has received applications from clubs in the Premier and Division One Leagues for a license to participate in the 2019/20 League season.
Three Premier League teams failed to submit their application for the license to participate in the Ghana Premier League.
The teams are Ebusu Dwarfs, Berekum Chelsea and Karela United.
In the Division One League, majority of the clubs failed to submit their application to the club licensing board. Out of the 48 Division one League clubs only 11 submitted their application.
In a press statement released by the Football Association, indicated the list of clubs to have submitted for the license to play in the various leagues.
“The Ghana Football Association has received applications from clubs in the Premier and Division One Leagues for a license to participate in the 2019/20 League Season from the under listed clubs after a deadline of 4th December, 2019 (close of work) was set for the submission of license applications.

The refusal or inability of the Clubs, which failed to apply for a license within the deadline set, would be treated in accordance with the GFA Club Licensing Regulations and Disciplinary Code.
We wish to also state emphatically that the process for the vetting of application documents to ascertain its authenticity or otherwise have begun.
