Police called to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's hotel to deal with rowdy fans

Police were called to the luxury hotel that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is staying in as staff became worried by the masses of fans outside.
The new Manchester United striker is staying in the five-star Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester city centre as he begins training with his new team-mates, report the Manchester Evening News.
Swedish star Ibrahimovic was staying at the Lowry Hotel with his partner Helena Seger but changed their plans on Wednesday and checked into the Radisson instead.
However, fans and the media soon discovered the footballer was staying at the hotel and spent Thursday evening waiting outside.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to reports of people outside the hotel harassing staff and some VIP guests shortly after 10 pm.

Officers attended the hotel and gave advice to staff members, as well as warning the paparazzi outside.
It is also understood one over-eager fan attempted to get in a lift with the star footballer.
GMP City Centre tweeted: “Report @ 2200HRS, 4x ‘Paparazzi’ harassing hotel staff & a VIP guest. Patrols gave passing attention to ensure no offences were committed.#2″
Before officers arrived Ibrahimovic had been photographed returning to the hotel looking triumphant following his first time training with Manchester United.

Manager Jose Mourinho watched on as the Swede was in action

Ibrahimovic has linked up with the Manchester United team following an extended summer break with the national side in the European Championships.
The 34-year-old trained with his new teammates for the first time on Thursday and was seen being put through the paces by Jose Mourinho.
Within days of his arrival in Manchester pictures emerged of Ibrahimovic and Seger, who have two children together, moving their luggage out of the Lowry Hotel.
The couple were then seen checking into the Radisson Hotel, where they have been staying ever since.
Both hotels are five star venues, with the Lowry Hotel being the traditional hotel for the Manchester United team’s accommodation.
Fans and photographers have been a regular sight outside both hotels who have been waiting to catch a glimpse of their idol.
The Swede could make his debut with the Reds during the team’s match against Galatasaray.
Manchester United will take on Galatasaray in his home country at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, on Saturday.
