Sensational Ghanaian play-maker Christian Atsu has been named in the team of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations following his supreme form at the tournament.
This makes it two on a row for the Newcastle United show-stopper who won the Player of the Competition in the 2015 edition of the AFCON.
Another Black Stars player who put up a stupendous performance at the AFCON was Daniel Amartey and his efforts didn’t go unnoticed as he was also named in the CAF Team of the AFCON.
The Leicester City stalwart was one of the stand-out performers for the Black Stars who generally put out a dour and uninspiring performance at the tournament.
