The Executive Committee members of 10 institutions have been given up to tomorrow (June 7, 2019) to report themselves to the Special Investigative Team (SIT) to assist the team in its work.
The companies are Alban Logistics, HODA Holdings, Integrated Properties Limited, Numa Logistics, Bolton Portfolio Limited, SK Financial Services, HODA Village, HODA Properties Limited, TOPP Core Security and TOPP Recruitment Limited.
The government set up the SIT last year to investigate the circumstances leading to the collapse of some financial institutions in the country.
Deadline
A highly placed source at the SIT also mentioned Mr Kwame Baffour Awuah Panin as an individual who was also required to report himself to the SIT by tomorrow (June 7, 2019).
It explained that some managers had responded favourably to the invitation and were already assisting in investigations.
“There, however, exists a certain category of officers of the affected banks and their related entities who have refused to acknowledge the invitations extended to them and failed to cooperate with the investigative team,” the source added.
It stressed that it was in the interest of the affected officers to report themselves or regret their action.
It gave the location of the SIT office as close to the United States Embassy, Sixth Link Close, Cantonments, Accra.
On the Ghana Post GPS (GPS), the address is GL-042-7662, while the office could also be contacted on 0299015257 or 0299015258.
