Akufo Addo: NPP will come to office with programmes not with promises

The 2012 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stated that the NPP is preparing to win power in December 2012 and take over the reigns of government ready with “programmes” that have been planned, evaluated, priced and sources of funding identified.

Addressing all 220 parliamentary candidates of the party so far chosen, the NPP flagbearer said the party does not want to win power only to find out at that it is not ready for office.

Nana Frets Over Stalled Projects

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the NPP’s 2012 flag-bearer, has expressed concern about the refusal of the NDC government to continue with projects commenced by the erstwhile NPP administration, the negative consequences of which he pointed out are being felt in the country today.

The NPP flagbearer expressed the concern in a statement he issued regarding the performance of cocoa farmers in the just-ended harvest season.

TEN CONSTITUENCIES will not take part in tomorrow’s much-talked-about New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s nationwide election to elect parliamentary candidates for the 2012 general elections.

NPP First Vice Chairman Fred Oware stated that two constituencies in the Ashanti region, namely Bosome Freho and Bekwai, are among the affected constituencies.  These two constituencies, in addition to Nkawkaw in the Eastern, have independent MPs who are collaborating with the party in Parliament.
