THOUSANDS OF New Patriotic Party (NPP) members and well-wishers drawn from across the country trooped to the Christ Church Anglican Cathedral in Cape Coast in the Central Region to mourn with the family of Kojo Mensah alias Kojo Alata, a founding member of the NPP in the region who died after a short illness on May 2, 2011.

The New Patriotic Party is asking Government to make full disclosure of its engagements with Kosmos Energy, one of the partners in the Jubilee Oil Field in relation to the payment of fines imposed on the company in 2010 for oil spillage.
The party says Government’s announcement that it has reached an amicable settlement with Kosmos Energy to pay 15 million dollars as fine for the oil spillage is not convincing enough.
