Rihanna has settled a lawsuit from photographer David LaChapelle, who accused her of copying his photographs for one of her music videos. Earlier this summer, LaChappelle won the right to go to trial to contest the singer's alleged use of his Italian Vogue images in the video for her song S&M.

Lady Gaga has won an injunction at London's High Court to stop animated character Lady Goo Goo from releasing a single, its makers have said.

Lady Goo Goo, a baby with a long blonde fringe from the Moshi Monsters online game - owned by UK firm Mind Candy - released The Moshi Dance on YouTube. But Lady Gaga's injunction has stopped its full release, Mind Candy said.

Law firm Mishcon de Reya confirmed it had represented Lady Gaga but said it could not comment further.

Beyonce accused of copying moves from ballet

Beyonce is being accused of stealing dance moves for her new video Countdown from a famous choreographer.

The pop star admitted that a 22-second sequence was inspired by Belgian dancer Anne Teresa De Keersmaker, who created the ballet Rosas Danst Rosa. However, Ms De Keersmaker said she had never been contacted for permission and called the pop video "pure plagiarism."

Eighteen-year-old country singer Scotty McCreery has become the first American Idol winner to top the US charts with a debut album since 2003.

McCreery, who beat Lauren Alaina in May's final, sold 197,000 copies of Clear As Day in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. He is also the youngest solo male artist to go straight to the top of the Billboard 200 with their debut release.

Tagoe Sisters, who made this known at a press conference at the Golden Tulip in Accra, disclosed that musical concerts would be staged in some selected regional capitals which include Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, among others, to raise funds to assist the needy.

Amy Winehouse has been found dead at her home in London, it has been reported.

The Back To Black singer was apparently found at the property in by emergency services at 3.54pm this afternoon, according to sources, and her death is being treated as 'unexplained' by police.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: 'Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.

'On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.

'Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.’

Castro told  BEATWAVES during a visit to the DAILY GUIDE office in Accra, that a lot of personalities in the showbiz industry, including friends and family members, were invited to witness his marriage ceremony which according to him, was announced in the media, adding, “How can this be secret when a lot of people were invited to witness the ceremony. It is not a secret thing I did”.
