Ghana’s sterling U-17 side the Black Starlets are set to continue their impressive display at the Africa Under-17 Championship as they lock horns with hosts Gabon today.
A brace each from skipper of the side Eric Eyiah and Ibrahim Sulley ensured that the Starlets white-washed their Cameroonian counterparts in their opening clash.
Media officer of Ghana’s side, Odiasempa Kwame Oware indicates that the team is poised for the task ahead with all the players fit except Rashid Alhassan who is battling against malaria.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin is not expected to ring any change in the squad except a possible replacement for Rashid Alhassan.
The game between the Black Starlets and their Gabonese counterparts comes off at 5:30pm.
