Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club, Vincent Odotei Sowah has revealed that Sergio Traguil’s wages are not paid directly from the club’s coffers but instead by a sponsor.
Odotei Sowah, however, refused to name the sponsor who ensures that Sergio is paid promptly though the other staff of the club hardly receive theirs on time.
“Coach Sergio Traguil is not paid by Accra Hearts of Oak. He is paid by a sponsor (anonymous), that is why he receives his salary on time,” he told Happy FM Thursday morning.
He took the opportunity to make several revelations including the projects the club is undertaking.
“Within 48 hours, Hearts of Oak will launch a new website. Within 48 hours we will sign a new contract with a new kit sponsor and from Monday we are beginning the rehabilitation of the Pobiman project so from next season, Hearts of Oak, Auroras and Royal Oaks will move to Pobiman for all activities.” He added.
